Thank you for visiting the Troop 160 webpage

Boy Scout Troop 160  is Chartered by both the American Legion Post 276.  Our meetings are held on Mondays at Cary United Methodist Church.  We go on 1 campout a month and during the summer, we attend 2 summer camps, and have at least 1 High Adventure Trek.  In 2009, we celebrated our 75th anniversary as a Troop in Cary.

Just We Two - Saturday, May 7

The Kishwaukee Chapter of the Order of the Arrow is hosting Just We Two for Tiger and Wolf Cub Scouts. The event will take place at Fel-Pro RRR preserve. Any Scout who is First Class or above who needs service hours may join OA members as they run the games. The theme is Olympic-like sports. We will start setting up at 8AM. Checkin will begin for the Cub Scouts at 8:30 and run the games 'til about 12:30pm. We will use the main pavillion which is accessed best from the East parking lot. Reminder of Camp MaKaJaWan payment due by May 16

Don't forget that final payment for Camp Makajawan is due by May 16. You can drop off payment at any troop meeting.   If you have already made the downpayment of $75, then $225 will be due.

MaKaJaWan Merit Badges

After the last Troop Meeting, your scout should have brought home a user ID and password to access the My MaKaJaWan site and be able to sign up for Merit Badges.  If you do not have the login info. Please contact me

GeoCaching Merit Badge

Camp Makajawan Downpayment/Confimation needed for the earlybird rate of $300

We would like to get formal confirmation/commitment of attendance to Camp Makajawan by Wed March 9th  in order to expediate getting a lump sum payment to the camp locking in the early bird fee of $300.   We still need your $75 deposit by March 15th as previously communicated.  This deposit is nonrefundable unless we can apply it to additional scouts who sign up at a latter date.
