The Marine Corps League needs Scouts to help set up a special 48-Hour vigil this Saturday morning at Lake Julian.

When: 8AM - Noon, Where: Lake Julian - Cary (Rt 14 & Jandus Cutoff), What: Placing a series of flags for the 48-Hour Vigil for Fallen Soldiers. Click read more below.

Come help us celebrate this great achievement by our friend and fellow scout Joseph! His Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be on Sunday, May 26th, starting at 2:00. There will be food after the ceremony (need I say more?).

Join us for a week of summer camping in nearby Stockton, IL.  Enjoy a good time with other Scouts while you experience new adventures, earn some merit badges, and participate in the variety of activities offered at the camp.  You may even see one of our own Scouts working as a camp counselor (cough cough Michael Spoerl).  Parents are welcome to join us on Family Nights to dine with the Scouts, tour the camp, and see what goes on while we’re on our own.  And you don’t want to miss the Order of the Arrow ceremony later on that evening.
