Thank you for visiting the Troop 160 webpage

Boy Scout Troop 160  is Chartered by both the American Legion Post 276 and the Cary Grove Jaycees.  Our meetings are held on Mondays at Cary United Methodist Church.  We go on 1 campout a month and during the summer, we attend 2 summer camps, and have at least 1 High Adventure Trek.  In 2009, we celebrated our 75th anniversary as a Troop in Cary.

Chris Johannsen Eagle Project

Posted on Aug 24 2014 - 7:03pm

I need about 5-7 scouts to help with my Eagle Project on Saturday, August 30th. We will be painting and refurbishing a display case to be used for honoring veterans that live in an assisted living home for the elderly. These are easy service hours for those who need them. We are planning on working from 10-12 on August 30th at my house, 352 Dunleer Drive. All help is appreciated.

Congratulations to Our Arrowmen!

Congratulations to our newest Order of the Arrow members who passed their Ordeal at the Fall Conclave: Craig Carlson, Tim Dziedzic, and Alex Rogers. Also, congratulations go to Brian Feliciano, James Friend, Mike Unti, and Don Unti for moving up from Ordeal membership to Brotherhood membership. Arrowmen may "seal" their membership after ten months by demonstrating their knowledge of the traditions and obligations of the OA. Our Troop now has the distinction of having all its eligable OA members attain Brotherhood status with one Vigil member.
